For your consideration…

Oh, the excitement of the season. For most people, for most of their lives, Christmas is an exciting time. The anticipation and countdown are part of the whole experience.

Our message today is fun. Our Guidance understands our joy and encourages us. But, isn’t there always, we are reminded that the moment we are in is a key step to our future. It is every bit as important as that anxiously awaited one.

We are asked to be present in this moment. Notice it. Be grateful for it. Celebrate it. It is a gift.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love the moment we are in.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Picking my joyous Conner and James up and taking them to the airport.

-House cleaners came and saved me a whole lot of work. I am a messy cook and baker.

-Jul, Vicki, and Dianne came over for our wrapping party. It was so fun and we were so productive. Appetizers, wrap. put the dinner in, wrap, eat dinner, finish wrapping, and dessert. Gary joined us for dessert and helped Dianne load up their gifts.

-Louie, my precious Louie who never does anything wrong, was naughty. The girls noticed the ribbon moving and found him taking it and unrolling it as he went. I had another small roll of ribbon I was working with. I dropped it. When I went to pick it up, I could not find it. We all started looking for it not believing that it could have gone far. We didn’t notice that the ribbon thief, Louie, had snatched it up and ran with it to his dog bed. The girls had all of their wrapped gifts in the hallway waiting to take them to the car. When Dianne went to get hers she noticed saran wrap on the floor. Then she noticed that thief, Louie, had eaten the lemon blueberry cake I had made her.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
