For your consideration…

“What do you want to be when you grow up?” This is the question we were given for today’s message.

And many of us are probably thinking, “It’s a little late for that.” But that is wrong thinking. No matter what quarter of our life we are in, we are still growing. We still have the opportunity to be who we want to be.

We know from our own experience that “who we want to be” has changed over our lifetime. Today is no different. It is never too late and always a good idea to stop and take stock every now and then. Is this really where I want to be? Do I need to make any course corrections? Do I want to change directions altogether? What is working well? What am I grateful for? Etc.”

We are asked today to take a pause and have fun with the question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause and ask the question.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Teaching middle schoolers.

-They usually do not get recess but on Friday they do. Color me happy. I love getting out.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex and Mary.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
