For your consideration…

“You don’t know until your try.” We have all heard that saying and it probably applies to most of us at some time or another during our lives.

We know that we are meant to grow. Setting stretch goals helps us. We are encouraged to try new things. What holds us back? Often it is that we don’t see a clear path to success so we are afraid to try. We are afraid of failure.

This is what our message today is about. We are asked to change our focus. Change our focus from one of doubt to one of excitement. Be excited for the “journey.” Be excited for what we will learn along the way. Be excited for the people we will meet. Regardless of the outcome, the journey will help us to grow and learn many lessons along the way.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try new things. Set some new goals.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Another absolutely beautiful day.

-Louie and I walked in the morning.

-Then we went on another beautiful walk with Julie through Furstenberg Park in the afternoon.

-Catching up with both my girls, Joan, and Cathy.

-Finished a good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
