For your consideration…
Today’s message comes as no shocker. I would venture to bet that in at least 50% of my conversations there is a mention of the state of our country…world. Invariably it comes around to, in a country of free speech, we no longer feel like we have it. We have to watch our words carefully not to give a thought or opinion. People no longer want to hear anything different than what they think or what their opinion is. I recently had a guest in my home say as much. I agreed and then voiced an opinion. She flew out of her chair and told me to “STOP talking” in my own home. So many of us are unwilling to listen to others.
That is probably why today’s message came forward. I don’t know about you but I can not think of one single area in my life where I am the WISEST. I also do not consider myself STUPID. Therefore, if that is the case, I need to be willing to change. I need to continue to grow. I need to be open and listen. I may not agree with everything others say and do but that does not change the fact that they are my fellow brothers and sisters and I need them.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be open.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-A perfect day to relax and enjoy my home.
-Catching up with Shannon and Sharon.
-My friend, Kathy’s, brain surgery went well.
-A new book.
