For your consideration…

Recently I had a house guest that started a conversation by saying, “I wish people could just talk to one another.” “Me too” I replied. Then as we continued the conversation I said something she did not agree with. She jumped out of her chair and told me to< “Stop talking. Do not say another word.”

The great religions of the world teach us to love one another, love our God. Yet, people can not even talk about religion without argument.

The women’s movement fought for the freedom of women and yet if you are a woman who disagrees with their doctrine, you are not invited to join them. It is an all-or-nothing strategy.

People fight for freedom of speech until you disagree. Then you are banned from speaking on their platform.

You get the picture. These are all examples of hypocrisy. Our message today tells us that not being hypocritical would be a huge step in the right direction for all mankind.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t be hypocritical. Be aware of it in others.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Jackie and both my girls.

-A trip to the nail salon.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
