Kindness

For your consideration…

Kindness seems to keep coming up lately. We shouldn’t be surprised that it is the focus of today’s message. Kindness was one of the things listed yesterday as things there could never be too much of. When messages keep cropping up…same message, different version…I see the message as being urgent.

I love the above saying…Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness. I also love this quote by Cleveland Amory, “What this world needs is a new kind of army…the army of the kind.”

We have the opportunity to choose to be kind to every person that crosses our path. We have the opportunity to join the “Army of Kindness.” We have a choice. we always have a choice

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. Start the day off with a cup of warm or hot water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Join the Kindness Army

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Grocery shopping done

-James programmed my garage door opener on my new car. I thought it would be a much bigger project. For the last 10 years I have hired someone and they were not near as quick as James.

-Alex and Jame brought in my outdoor plants. I was worried there was going to be a freeze. They are big pots of succulents that I started from small. They look beautiful all summer water with no required care. Next year will be their 5th summer.

-I had cabbage and potatoes that needed to be used before my trip. But that didn’t happen so yesterday I made stuffed cabbage and gnocchis and put them up in the freezer.

-A good book.
