For your consideration…

Sparks are good. Sparks are fun. Sparks can be good indicators of attraction. Sparks can inspire new and great ideas. Sparks can be ignitors passion and fire. Again this can be good. HOPEfully is almost always good.

But, yes, there must be a but. Sparks can burn. Sparks can ignite tempers. Sparks can instigate drama, etc. So do we want to stay away from sparks? NO!

We are reminded of intention. We always want to listen without judgment. Listen to what the speaker is saying and their intention. Will we always agree? No, but neither ourselves nor others are always right. If we let the sparks fly with good intentions, without anyone getting burned, then we have a good chance of everyone learning, growing, and sparking different ways of doing things and growing.

We see and hear about discord all of the time. It is impossible to avoid. But we don’t have to mimic it or be a part of it. We can choose to let the sparks work for the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Listen and follow what we hear.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Sparkle for the highest good of all.

What made me smile yesterday…

-The weather turned itself around.

-Some good shopping with Sigrid.

-Dinner with Sigrid, Bob, and Jody.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
