For your consideration…

Like I often say, I love when our message comes in via a song. Today’s song came in but for the life of me I could not remember its title. I could hum it. I could hear a couple of lines…over and over and over until that ah-ha moment.

The song is Ebb Tide. The tide in the song is a simile for love. The beautiful lyrics of Ebb Tide by Carl Sigman and Robert Maxwell remind us that love is real, constant, and never dies.

First the tide rushes inPlants a kiss on the shoreThen rolls out to seaAnd the sea is very still once moreSo I rush to your sideLike the oncoming tideWith one burning thoughtWill your arms open wideAt last we’re face to faceAnd as we kiss through an embraceI can tell, I, I can feelYou are love, you are realReally mine in the rainIn the dark, in the sunLike the tide at its ebbI’m at peace in the web of your armsEbb tide
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Remember only love is real…always turn to love.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Jody and I went out to breakfast at Antonio’s.
-Vicki and Jul came for dinner….fun relaxing night.
-A good book.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
