For your consideration...

Our message came in via the song, “Big Yellow Taxi.” Remember these lyrics”;

Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone
They paved paradise, put up a parking lot

It is easy to get caught up in the drama/negativity. It is easy to complain about what is wrong. For sure there is a lot that can be done better or needs fixing. But when we join the gripping game, guess where our energy goes?

Exactly…our energy goes to the negative and guess wheat gets delivered back to us? Yup, more of the same.

We are not being asked to put our heads in the sand. But we are asked to take the next step with a solution. We are asked to be part of the solution. But we might think, “I can’t fix gas prices, etc.” Perhaps not, but rather than dwell on it we can turn our attention and energy to our blessings. We can release the energy of our blessings out into the world. We can always do that. And guess what we can expect back? Yup, more blessings.

We are asked today to appreciate all that we do have.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm.,..“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all>”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Appreciate what we do have…all our blessings.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Having a fun place for Louie to stay when I am out of town.

-A great day for a grad party.

-Seeing lots of friends I have not seen in a long time at Shawn’s party.

-Catching up with Lisa, Sigrid, and Jody.

-A good book.

Love, Gratitude, and Blessings,

Rev. Chris
