For your consideration…

What about you? Are you a pot stirrer? We tend to think of pot stirrers as troublemakers and certainly, that is sometimes true. There are people who just like to stir the pot then sit back and watch the fireworks.

But today’s message is light-hearted. It tells us that pots need to be stirred. We need for what is at the bottom to come to the top so it doesn’t get stuck. Nothing can heal if it is buried and never sees the light at the “top of the pot.”

We need to mix things up so we can see things in a new way. We need to mix things up to incorporate…bring them together.

We are asked to be pot stirrers for our highest good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Stir the pot once in awhile.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I found new chairs for the kitchen on Facebook Marketplace. I have been looking for 3 months in various stores and venues. I am so happy I didn’t settle. I got these fabulous 4 chairs for $35 total and they are exactly what I was looking for…better even.

-Jul, Vickie, and I spent the night in Okemos.

-We went to a play, The Hotbox, in Williamston. It was very good and funny.

Blessings, Gratitude, and Love,

Rev. Chris
