For your consideration……
While today’s message is linked to yesterdays, there is a reason why we were not given it yesterday. That reason being is it is important enough to stand on its own. Yesterday we were told that HOPE + Faith + Knowing =Blessings. Today’s message is linked to the “knowing” part of that message.
For many of us, the roadblock to knowing is feeling like we are deserving. This ego we have sitting on our shoulder is always reminding us of our shortcomings. It is always sitting in judgement. Consequently we often feel we are not deserving of the blessings already sitting waiting for us to claim.
We need to let go of the self-judgement. Trying to do our best is all that is asked. We can not do that by dwelling on what is past and not changeable. Our best self as we know it today will be better tomorrow. We are growing. We are learning our life lessons. We are students.
Parents love to give gifts to their children. Sometimes they are rewards but most often they are symbols and/or reminders of the unconditional love have them. The love is all that is needed to make the child deserving. And so it is with our heavenly Father. His love for us alone makes us deserving. We are asked to accept that and get out of our own way of receiving the blessings waiting for us. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate. Do the best you can. That is all that is being asked.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Celebrate you.
-Drink lots of water.
-What does you best self look like? If you don’t know what you would be doing write down what you would feel like. Hang onto that feeling.
What made me smile yesterday……
-It was a real chill day.
-Errands done….check. Laundry…..check.
-Early to bed…..check
-Alex passing her check ride…..check.
-Nick may be able to come back to the states today.
