For your consideration…

Our message is exactly that, “Try until you die.” I almost censored the “until you die” part.  But then I realized the message wasn’t “try until you harm yourself.” No, it is that we are forever learners and we should try new things and learn new things until we literally die.

But the message is much more than that. We are asked to “lighten up,” Change how we look at failure. Consider it a learning lesson and keep on trying. Shut the ego down. Listen to our Spirit and let it encourage us and cheer us on. We are asked to consider faking it until we make it or at least figure out what we are supposed to do instead.

Oh, it helps to keep our sense of humor and be able to give ourselves a good chuckle,.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try, try, try…whatever it is that grabs your heart.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A good gathering for Hilary’s baby shower. Everything came off without a hitch.

-A good book.

-Spending time with Alex and Conner.

-Watching my oldest transition to empty nesting.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev., Chris
