For your consideration…

Most of us remember the parable about the mustard seed. It tells us that “We only need to have trust the size of a mustard seed in Jesus for our Spirit to grow.” In turn we grow the Kingdom of God.

It is the same with light. The smallest of amounts drives our darkness.

And today this parable and example are used for love. We are born in love and we die in love. Sometimes love is challenging. Sometimes situations are challenging. Sometimes people are challenging. In short, we are constantly experiencing and growing with the challenges of life. We are reminded that in every single experience when we bring our love to it…even the smallest amount…the size of a mustard seed…it is a game changer.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Apply love…even the smallest amount matters.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A warm day. The rain held off for all the get-togethers.

-Going to Allison’s baby shower with Jordan and Alex.

-A good nap at Shannon’s before Connor’s grad party.

-Louie got to play with Uno and Tank. Poor guy. I am just boring.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
