For your consideration…

Do you remember that song, “I Was Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places?” Do you remember these lyrics?

I was lookin’ for love in all the wrong places
Lookin’ for love in too many faces
Searchin’ their eyes
Lookin’ for traces of what I’m dreaming of
Hoping to find a friend and a lover
I’ll bless the day I discover another heart
Lookin’ for love

We are reminded today that there is no such place or face as the wrong one. It may seem like we have found a love that is not good for us but in fact, what we have found is an opportunity. The opportunity to grow. The opportunity to learn what we really want and need. The opportunity to demonstrate love.

Everyone place, person, and thing is worthy of love. Sometimes it may not seem like it. But that is our opportunity. We have a choice. We always have a choice. We can walk away from what seems dark and unloving. At the same time, we have the opportunity to bless it with love as we do. This seems like a small thing but it is not. In doing this we have interrupted the negative energy from reverberating forward and replaced it with a loving one.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Check with you Spirit on everything. Do a proof loop today on what you learned yesterday.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-My garden is looking amazing.

-Dinner with Conner and Alex and then a little shopping.

-Lots of well wishes and prayers were sent my way which totally warms my heart.

-Some cookie dough made up and put in the freezer for some events I have coming up.

-A surprise visit from Shannon.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
