For your consideration…

It is interesting how our messages have threaded together the last couple of days and again today.

A couple of days ago we had a message about “belaboring” a point….harping. Yesterday’s message was beautiful asking us, encouraging us, to heal family wounds and strengthen family bonds.

Today’s message specifically calls out arguing. We have the right to disagree. Our life purpose is to live our purpose and to call things as we see them. It is the method and way we disagree that is the issue.

Let’s think about it. Are we angry when we argue? How do we argue? Do we argue to hurt someone’s heart and feelings? Do we argue to dislodge someone’s self-confidence?

You see where this is going. All of the above are negative and hurtful. We know how karma and energy work. What we put out is what we get back with an even bigger punch.

Again, we have a right to disagree and voice our disapproval. We have a right to argue about it. It is how we argue that is the issue. Our message today tells us to wait until we are not angry…or at least until we can be calm. Second, be clear on the heart of the matter. Get to that point with the highest of intentions…speaking from our heart. Third, do not introduce anything else into the disagreement. Let the past be the past. Stay fully in the present moment only. Fourth, don’t speculate, again staying fully in the present moment with the highest intentions for the highest good of ALL. Finally, speak your truth and let it go resisting the temptation of being sucked back further into bickering.

I guess be can call this “Arguing 101.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Argue if we must but do it with loving intentions.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Louie and I stayed home and chilled all day yesterday.

-It was another beautiful day. Sunny, warm, breezy, no air conditioning needed.

-Catching up with Jackie Shannon, and Mary.

-A good book…I HOPE. It is getting better.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
