For your consideration…

Do you ever feel like saying, “Enough already?” Don’t you feel like some people, or the news, etc. just can’t let things go.

What happens when someone, including us, belabors a point? Perhaps it turns into an argument. Perhaps people just “tune out.” Perhaps we incite or escalate a situation.

Our message today asks us what good is it to “belabor a point?” We can and should feel free to use our personal power and express how we feel, what we think. We should not belabor and browbeat people with our opinions, feelings, views, etc. Does this mean we should not take action? No. If we are inclined and impassioned, we should do what we can to find a solution. Constant complaining without action just adds more distress to the world.

We can think of it this way. We have an issue, we state it. Typically this carries some negative energy. But we have a choice. We can bless the situation, ask for it to be resolved for the highest good of all, and release it. We can let it go and turn to something with positive energy. Or we can take positive steps to help resolve the issue.

Constant bickering, complaining, arguing, and belaboring an issue does not serve anyone’s highest good. It is simply more dark and negative energy released into our world. We may not be able to stop others but we can control ourselves. We can stop listening, move on, and put light and positive energy out instead.,

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be positive.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with both my girls and Jody.

-Train reservations made for a girl’s trip to see Jody.

-A good book.

-Putting the house back together after having the carpets cleaned. I am so happy to have that done.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
