For your consideration…

I love when our message comes in via a song, you know that. But I especially love it when it comes in via a favorite song. “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban is on my Spotify list.

We are called to these lyrics:

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until You come and sit awhile with me

.You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be

Of course, we are being reminded that our God, our Guidance, our Source is always present waiting for us to call on them…not just in big things but all things…every part of our lives. We are bigger, stronger, more capable, etc. when we “stand on helping shoulders.” This should go without saying.

But there is more. We are bigger, stronger, and more capable with the help of others…family, friends, and strangers. We are not meant to walk alone. We are meant to help one another, lift each other up.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next ste[ for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Depend on our Guidance and each other.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Louie’s surgery went well. He is not very happy but this too shall pass.

-Carpets cleaned…finally.

-Vicki, Kay, and Julie stopped by.

-Julie helped me get Louie home and then treated me to Chinese.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
