For your consideration…

We tend to think of sweaty palms and racing hearts as a sign of weakness. They are physical signs of discomfort, excitement, fear, etc.

Our message today tells us that these physical signs are gifts. Rather than focus on the discomfort or embarrassment, we need to focus on what these signs are trying to tell us. We need to ask the question, “Why?”

I love this Umm Farsheen quote, “Tears aren’t signs of weakness. Rather they are signs that the heart hasn’t lost its ability to feel.” Do you see the shift in focus? So too it is with racing hearts and sweaty palms. They are not signs of weakness. They are alerting us to something heading our way.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Watch for the signs the Universe throws in our path.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. I sure love writing that. It seems like we are having many of them.

-Some crafting done.

-Catching up with Shannon and Jody.

-Four baby quilts put together and ready to be sewn.

-Alex and James have started moving out. I have Conner for a couple of days.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
