For your consideration……

Evidently I did not do a good job yesterday. I have been reminded over and over again to clarify “chunking” out our life. So here we go.

Often we read that we come with a contract……we are born with it. We know it, we have gone over it with God and we know the life lessons we are here to learn. There are no mistakes. There are no coincidences. There are no accidents. Then right before birth we are made to forget it.

This in itself is a hard concept to accept. I, personally, had a very difficult time with it. But as I studied, meditated and prayed I have come to believe this to be true.

You know the saying, “You can’t handle the truth?” That is not quite true with life. Because we are constantly seeking the truth of life. A truer statement for almost all people is, “You can’t handle the “whole” truth at once.” It is just too overwhelming.

So we are given access to our life lessons on a “need to know basis.” We have access to what we need when we need it.

Who has a better plan than God? So why not take a clue from him? If our plans, questions, tasks, decisions, problems etc., are too overwhelming, “chunk” them out. Break them up into pieces we can handle and see more clearly. We can handle pieces, right?

I can give you no better example than with students. Frequently, I hear, “I can’t”. I can’t do algebra. I can’t go to college. But when you break it out into pieces or steps, soon enough they see they are a quarter, then half and finally all the way there.

That is all we have to do. If we are overwhelmed, chunk the task or problem out. What can I do this moment and the next? What can I do tomorrow? Eventually, we get to the other side of our problem or we reach our goal.

Hopefully, this clears things up. But if not, I am sure the angels will keep at me to fix it.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Breath in confidence and power. Breath out negativity and doubt.

-Get outdoors and breath in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water

-Move….exercise, walk, stretch etc.

-Take time to recharge YOUR batteries. Take time for you.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A great day at school.

-A relaxing ride to “Stillwater” with Dude.

-Bit by bit, piece by piece Stillwater is looking like “my” place. Gradually the old owners are moving out their things and I am moving in mine. I love it.

-My Sis, Lori, sounding good.

-A very funny brother story. I love to laugh. Doesn’t laughing just feed your soul?

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
