For your consideration…

Once again we are reminded of the wide and various ways messages come through. “Clean up on aisle 3.” That is the exact words but we know they represent something else.

First, because the message called out the number three, we know that this message is about the “body, mind, and spirit.” Specifically, it is about “cleaning up the body, mind, and spirit” and/or keeping it clean.

Sometimes, like in a store, we make a mess that we just can’t clean up without help. But we can do something. For example, we can alert someone that we have made a mess so they can safely get it cleaned up and cordon it off so no one gets hurt.

Our message today acknowledges that we can’t always be the solution. However, normally we do have the ability and tools to clean up our own messes. That is what the main focus of today’s message is about. Of course, we know we can and should clean up after ourselves with a tidy home, our business in order, etc. But we are probably not thinking about keeping our body, mind, and spirit cleaned up.

An example was given to us…family drama. It is a perfect one. Families argue. Often a third family member intervenes and brokers a peace. God bless their helpful soul. BUT it is not their mess to clean up. It is not their karma. The karma that needs to be healed is between the people who are disputing.

It is the same with any person or group. If we have a dispute it is ours to clean up. It is our job to fix our karma. It is our job to keep our body, mind, and spirit mess-free. Just imagine what the world would look like if everyone took ownership and personal responsibility for their messes and cleaned them up. Imagine if everyone actively focused on a clean and healthy body, mind, and spirit.

We can not control others nor should we try but we can take ownership of ourselves…clean up after ourselves…and we should.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good of all and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be mindful of our body, mind, and spirit and strive to keep it clean and healthy.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I had forgotten how fun it is to have a garden.

-James made it home.

-Catching up with Shannon and Mary.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
