For your consideration…

Hey, I often say this same thing, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” I like to get things done, be ahead of the game. I make lists. I plan…for the things I like to do. But with things I don’t, I can be a procrastinator.

That is what this saying is about, don’t be a procrastinator. However, our message today tells us that this should never be a hard and fast rule. We should not put ourselves in task slavery. We should not confine ourselves to sticking to the plan at all costs all of the time. For sure, there are times when this is necessary but not every day all day.

Just like the Universe needs balance so do we. We need to have wiggle room to enjoy the blessings put in our path. We need to feel the freedom to do that. Those little surprises and delights bring joy to our lives…joy we need…joy we need to share.

Our message today tells us that there is nothing wrong with a “change of plans and putting what we were going to do today off until tomorrow.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Make room for joyous and fun.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A magnificent thunder and lightning show last night. My garden grew at least 4″ overnight.

-Lunch and shopping with my girls and Conner.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
