For your consideration…

Seriously, this could be me…for my whole life. I have worked and worked on patience. My Aunt Virginia was a model of patience. I will never forget the one and only time I saw her lose it. I still feel the shock of it all. My Aunt Virginia passed away a long time ago but I am blessed with other great role models, my friend, Janet, and my daughter, Shannon. The point is, I can relate to all of you for whom patience is a struggle.

Todays’s message tells us that waiting has benefits. Besides teaching us patience…which remember is a virtue…it helps us to slow down and exercise restraint. Sometimes it is better to wait, catch a breath, and make room for what we really need to come in. It is true, that some things are worth waiting for…our highest good being one of them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved. I am worthy of love.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Practice slowing down and waiting.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Lisa and I went for a drive to the east side and had a great seafood lunch/dinner.

-We shopped a little.

-Catching up with Alex.

-Finished a good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
