Five Steps to Worrying Less - Mindful

For your consideration…

Depending on where we are on any given day or time in our life, worrying is something we all know how to do. Some of us are better at mastering it and letting it go than the rest of us. I am sure that we all know a consummate “worrier.”

Our message today asks us what is the point of worrying? We need to ask ourselves that. Does it ever change anything? We need to remember that it does not. We are also asked to consider that worrying takes up space. It steals the energy of potential of any given moment. It blocks the clarity of that next step that is being put in our path. It makes us detour it.

We are asked to let go of worry and open our body, minds, and spirit to the perfect step that is put in our path. Trust it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go of worry. Be excited for the perfection that wants to replace it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Sunshine.

-Catching up with Shannon and Mary.

-A good book.

-Some gardening done.

-Reorganizing.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
