For your consideration…

Anyone who has brothers and sisters or children of their own recognizes the above situation. I am not sure how your parents handled this but mine generally told us to stop maybe a couple of times. Then they would yell at us and threaten us. And if we still didn’t stop they followed through with their threat and pulled over to the side of the road, picked a small twig from a tree, and used it on our behinds. Needless to say, they only had to do that a couple of times. After that, when they started to pull the car off to the side of the road, we immediately stopped.

We have a lot of fighting going on amongst our brothers and sisters here on Mother Earth; family fighting, workplace fighting, neighbors fighting, government fighting, citizens fighting, countries fighting, etc. Our message today reminds us how truly lucky we are that God has much more patience than our parents had/have, he leads by example, waiting, waiting, waiting for us to stop the fighting and love one another.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Be patient, be kind, be loving.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Alex and James. Only one more day before they arrive in Michigan. We are so excited.

-Catching up with Dianne and Mary.

-Some phone business done. I hate starting those calls because of all of the prompts and waiting but I got a couple of issues solved.

-An early bedtime. Of course, I was not able to sleep til morning. But that is ok. I have a lot to do today.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
