For your consideration…

This is my favorite Nelson Mandela quote. Just nine words mean so much.

Of course, I love it because it deals with HOPE. But think about all these words imply.

Mayimplies choice. We have a choice. We always have a choice.

Your…implies it is OUR choice. It talks to our personal power.

Reflect…implies consequences of choice.

HOPESimplies positive energy and light. Notice the plural. HOPE is an attitude, an intention. It is optimum if we apply it to all things but it is perfect whenever and wherever we use it.

Fearimplies the opposite, negative energy and darkness.

We are asked to think about our choices and make the most of them by keeping our intention and expectations rooted in HOPE.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Stoke our HOPE.

What made me smile yesterday…

-The weather is trying to break and stay warm. Come on Mother Nature, you can do it.

-My last Storyworth story was written. Some last-minute editing and I am done. I will have met my deadline.

-Lisa is a blessing. She is a wonderful Care giver for Bruce.

-I was able to go to AJ’s lacrosse game. Six more goals has his season total to 51 thus far.

-Alex, James, and Conner are on their way.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
