For your consideration…

I had to laugh when I got this message. Yesterday, it seemed like everyone was having a “moment.” Me getting Bruce cleaned up as I tried to get out the door to AJ’s lacrosse game. Shannon and Will’s dogs escaped while they were trying to do the same. Alex and James had a very stressful house closing. It was like something was in the air. Ultimately, Shannon and I shared the coffee that she had spiked and had a good laugh.

And that is what today’s message is about. “This too shall pass.” It is just a moment, just an event, just an experience. It has come and it will go. How do we know? We know because we have life experiences and lessons behind us that have taught us so. Remembering that allows us to let go of the stress and fear and move through them gracefully full of HOPE.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remembering this too shall pass and we will be ok…better even.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Kathy, Mary, Jackie, Alex, and Conner.

-A great lacrosse game of AJ’s.

-Lisa, a wonderful caregiver for Bruce.

-A good book.

-I found pictures I didn’t know I had to go with a story I was writing.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
