For your consideration…

Perhaps you have heard the first part of this motivational quote, “Thoughts become feelings, feelings become actions, actions become results.”

Our message today adds to that phrase, “Results become memories and memories become residual feelings.”

Why is this important? It is important because we forget. Our memories fail us. Sometimes it is because we are busy. Sometimes because our brain is on overload. Sometimes it is because of illnesses such as Alzheimers, dementia, traumatic brain injury, etc. Our memories may fail us but the feelings we know and experience do not…even if we can not attach the correct memory to them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Recognize our feelings. Keep them positive.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Still snow on the ground. Yikes. A good day to stay in.

-Sunshine.

-Crafting done.

-A good book.

-Video chat with Alex, James, and Conner.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
