For your consideration…

I woke with the Tony Bennett song, “Who Can I Turn To?” playing in my head. All-day this same song. Experience teaches me that once I acknowledge it is our message and write the blog, it will go away.

This song is a sad song and it is actually about not being needed creating loneliness. Our message today reminds us of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. He does not want us to turn away or only call on him in times of trouble. No, he wants to be part of ALL of our life. He wants to be needed in all things big and small. As we bless him with giving him our burdens in complete love and faith, he gives us blessings.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…”I am loved.”

-Affirm…”I am never alone.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with both my girls.

-A good book.

-We are set up and ready for Easter.

-Some crafting done.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
