For your consideration…

One of the reasons I love living in the Midwest is the four seasons. If you are a Midwesterner you notice the ever-changing weather and landscape. Mother Nature changes “her outfit” every day.

Our message today reminds us that noticing is an action verb. Often we put noticing on automatic and let it become stagnant. But noticing as an action lets us see the “grey area.” It lets us see the parts of a picture versus just the whole. It lets us see the variation of colors and how they contrast or blend. Noticing helps us in meditation and mindfulness hone in on our breath or a sound.

So today is a simple message. We are reminded that “noticing” is an important tool in our life toolbox that we need to sharpen and use regularly.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice the joy of noticing.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful warm sunny day.

-Mary, AJ, and Mary Scott came for a visit. Mary made some great cards.

-A great evening walk with Louis.

-And prayers have been answered. Alex was accepted into PA school at Lawrence Tech. We are so proud of her and so excited. The number of applicants they take in PA programs is so small, I was worried that she would not get in on her initial try. That would have been tragic as they have already sold their Washington house and bought one here in Michigan. We are excited beyond words.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
