For your consideration…

It is Holy Week yet everywhere we turn we see and hear negativity. Perhaps we should turn off all media for a bit.

Too drastic? Our message today has an alternative. Assume for a moment God knows what he is doing. Assuming God knows what he is doing is called Faith. It is not meant to be a part-time condition. Faith is not meant to be something we turn on and off. If we have to choose when to apply it, then we do not truly have Faith.

So if we assume, if we have Faith, that God knows what he is doing, we know that every one of his creations is created in love and is meant to be loved.

Our message today reminds us that we may abhor someone’s actions but they are still worthy of our love. Indeed, need it more than ever. As God does for his children, we do for ours. Despite bad behavior, we love our children anyway. We are capable of doing the same for all of God’s creations. Apply love….always.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Hold Faith…apply love.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day.

-A good walk.

-Lots of writing done.

-Finished a good book.

-Catching up with Alex and Conner.

-Some crafting cleanup.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
