For your consideration…

I love how today’s message came in today because it came from a few places, each one holding a part.

I am disappointed in the above picture I took because on the actual card the Goddess’ skirt is brilliant purple. Purple is indeed the color for today, “Passion Sunday.”

Passion Sunday begins Holy Week. What we did not know or understand then we now know that was there was a plan all along. What God saw for his son’s life purpose, he created.

That is a key to today’s message, “What we see we create.” We may not consider ourselves creative people but each and everyone of us is. We manifest, we create.

a-Bol-Nimba is the African Goddess of Harvest. She reminds us that what we reap what we sow.  Again, “What we see we create” and we reap the blessings not only for ourselves but like Jesus for the highest good of all. Like Jesus, a-Bol-Nimba asks us to plant seeds of generosity, love, support, and goodwill throughout our community.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-See, create, plant, and harvest blessings.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Some sunshine.

-Jackie finally welcomed her new granddaughter, Maddie.

-Catching up with Jackie, Bob, Shannon, and Yvonne.

-A good book.

-Some extra writing done and even more important a good plan for the rest of it. I have shared with some friends but perhaps not written about last year’s Mother’s Day gift from Alex. She gave me a subscription to Storyworth. It is a place to write your stories and memories. I am going to admit that I thought, “What are you thinking? I write a blog, I still have not published books that I need to get done. Now I have something more to write.” Every Monday, I receive a prompt to write about. Some Monday’s I write right away. Most of the time I set it aside to do later. And of course, the year has sped by and before I new it I was over 20 prompts behind and the subscription is about to end. Yes, it would have been so much easier to put a reminder in my planner and done the one a week. Now I have to do one a day if I want to be sure to catch up. That is the down side. The up side is that my attitude has completely changed. This is such a cool project. I am excited to see the finished project.

Blessings, Gratitude, and Blessings,

Rev. Chris
