For your consideration…..
I always start each blog with “for your consideration”. I do that because I feel very strongly that each of us receives guidance on a constant basis. And if the message does not feel right for you, it isn’t. Having said that I don’t believe in coincidences so if you were brought to this blog, it is for a reason. Perhaps the message does not feel right but your attention was prompted to focus on something from what was said.
As I have said many many times, we all get guidance 24/7. Hearing it and paying attention to it is an entirely different matter all together. We are all over the place on that.
For myself, I started getting hearing messages on a fairly consistent basis 5 years ago. And then very regularly over this past year. That is the hearing part. The action part is something else altogether. That is where the “persistence” comes in.
The angels today are very funny. They shared with me that the problem is my attitude. Specifically it is my attitude on persistence. I tend to think of the word persistence as a more polite way to say obstinate nagging. (OK, I get it when they put it that way. I see that is a negative attitude. Note to self, change the attitude. No whining.) From my angel’s point of view persistence is more like a prolonged existence, a gentler perseverance, little nudges to keep me moving forward.
What about you? Are you feeling overwhelmed, nagged, like too much has been put on your plate? Maybe that is true. Maybe there is a lesson on how to say “no”. But maybe it is our attitude that is influencing what is being asked of us. Maybe it is how we are framing the picture.
Just food for thought, Dear Ones. Take a look at what keeps persisting in your life. Give it a little thought and light. Ask for guidance. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Listen. What do you hear in the stillness? Trust it.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Drink lots of water.
-Give some thought to what is nagging or persistent in your life.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-A great school day. Great students.
-I got outdoor recess duty. Teachers always want to apologize for that but I feel blessed. Deep breaths….deep breaths….deep breaths.
-We got to see a portion of Milan High School’s school play, “Out of the Woods.” It was great and our students were really psyched up about going to see the whole play.
-A major portion of getting Stillwater set up with our own things happened. The kitchen and bathroom are done. Did I forget some things I thought I had packed? Sure. But a minor detail.
-Bruce came with me for the weekend. Just music, walking, reading and WRITING for the weekend. (I have to emphasize the WRITING since that is what my angels are persistent about.)
-My dear, dear, sister-in-law, Cathy called. Instant joy, when I hear her voice. I miss her.
