For your consideration…

“What have you been doing?”

“Nothing.”

How often have you or someone else answered the question with “Nothing?” When I got this message in the middle of the night, I realized I do this all of the time. Lately, I am constantly telling my family and friends that I am getting “Nothing” done. I am pretty much confined to the house and should be getting lots accomplished…I think.

Our message today tells us that when we proclaim “Nothing” we have judged and minimized the moment that has been sent to us as perfect. Our message got a little harsher. We are asked to put our “Nothing” in context. Consider it is one of our last moments or, indeed, the last one. Would we minimize it then? Would we consider it to be “Nothing” then?

Yikes, point taken.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Realize the moment, for God has made it perfect.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Stephie and Tyler had their baby boy.

-Lots of sunshine.

-Catching up with my neighbor…we don’t do that as much in the winter.

-Louie went to the groomer…not his favorite thing…but he looks so handsome.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
