For your consideration…
Well, not what I expected for today’s message but I have sate with it for a while and we are asked to think about evil. Is there really evil? What is evil?
We are told that, yes, there can be evil. Evil is like darkness. Just as darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of love. And just like darkness, where the smallest of light destroys it, the smallest bit of love destroys evil. That smallest bit is the start of change. That smallest bit creates the space for it to expand as yeast does to the dough. Love will always conquer evil.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Always insert love.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Catching up with Alex, Shannon, Kathy and Cathy.
-A good series book done. On to Black Ice by Claudia Whitsett. She is doing a book review at our DKG meeting this week/
-Grocery shopping done.
-Ah ha…I discovered why Louie is able to leave the yard. I thought the snow by the curb was too deep for his collar to work but it is good that is not the case. His battery in his collar was dead.
