For your consideration…

I love this Rumi quote with its gentle reminder to go within and listen to our soul, our Guidance.

Today’s message is a little more specific. It came in as “What do you want from me?” It came with a tone of frustration.

Our Guidance wants us to know that they feel our frustration. It tells us that we should not give more than we have available to give. This message sounds counterintuitive. As light-workers and caregivers, we can tend to extend ourselves too thin. We can deplete ourselves. This is not good for anyone.

We are reminded that we should always give from love. It should not ever feel stressful. We should not feel obligated. It should not come from demands or expectations. When love is not freely given with an open, loving, heart, it depletes us. On the other hand, when it does come from an open loving heart, we replenish our soul. We open it up to grow and expand love.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Nourish our soul. Listen to it.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Picture of Alex, James, and Conner have fun in Hawaii.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-Charity came by for a sewing lesson.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
