For your consideration…

We can ponder why obstacles are put in our path. Certainly, they are sometimes there as learning and growing opportunities. Today we are asked to consider this, “Sometimes obstacles are just an interruption of time.”

Sometimes obstacles are put in our path as an interruption until we are ready for the Divine Timing. Many of us have had romantic relationships that did not work out. While painful at the time, we realize we dodged a bullet when we met our partner. It is the same thing with jobs and homes. We think we have lost out and then we get the perfect one meant for us. Last winter while in Florida, I searched and searched for a new puppy. I was on waiting lists. I got scammed on a Facebook ad. I was beginning to think about rethinking getting a pet. Then in February, a litter became available in Wisconsin right after we were to return home. Just like that, I got my perfect Louie. Yes, yes, yes…I know he is not perfect but he is perfect for me. And that is part of the point. The Universe is in command of what is perfect for each of us. We just have to be patient and rethink how we think about obstacles.

One more thought on timing. Mercury retrograde started yesterday. It ends on February 3rd. As most of you know, communication, plans, etc. is often disrupted and difficult. We are sometimes forced to slow down. This is an opportune time to reshape our thinking as these obstacles jump in our path. Slow down, have faith, be patient all will be well in Divine Timing.

That is the HOPE.And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Chill out.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Vickie and I have long admired Julie’s avatar. We decided to make our own and we are all like little kids with them. They make us laugh each day.

-A PJ zoom call with Julie, Vickie, and Jody.

-Progress on the baby quilts.

-A quick trip out run errands. I forgot to cancel Erica to watch Bruce and did not have a to-do list ready. But I am glad I got out.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex. She got home this morning.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
