For your consideration…

This message today made me laugh out loud. We have had many messages reminding us to “love our neighbor as we love ourselves.” We have acknowledged it is easier when it is someone you care about and pretty difficult when it is someone we are not necessarily fond of.

Today we are given a little chuckle and told to look at this a different way. When we come across those people that test us, just think….”they are a necessary cog in the wheel.” We need them and they need us. So we can be grateful for them.

I’m hearing, “There is always a way to look on the bright side of things.” That’s a good reminder.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look on the bright side of things. We need the cogs in the wheel.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Having James, Conner, and Alex here.

-Sadly I had to take them to the airport but it was a smooth process all the way home for them.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Jackie and Mary.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
