Throwing Out the Baby and the Bath Water | single-minded proposition

For your consideration…

LOL. Today’s message makes me laugh. It is light-hearted.

It’s a new year. We’re gung-ho ready to tackle our resolutions. Our message encourages us but also says, “Hey, wait. Not everything needs changing. Not everything needs to be done over.”

Before we start anything new, we need to evaluate. What is working? What is not? What can we tweek? What just needs to be discarded? What can we add to or start anew?

It used to be a pet peeve of mine in business. We would have a problem and rather than just fix the problem we would get a whole new system that would fix the original problem but create a whole set of new ones. We don’t want to do this. We have a lot of great going for us. We want to keep that and build on it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Evaluate…plan, do, check… tweek…plan, do, check.

What made me smile yesterday…

-We did our family Christmas.

-Lots of fun.

-Finished the season of Yellowstone.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
