For your consideration…

I would say that pretty much every day through the various people I follow and groups I am in, I am asked to pray for someone in need. I am sure it is the same with you. It is painful to see so much need. At the same time, it serves to remind us of the blessings we have in our own life.

Often when I get these messages, I wish I could just “fix the problem.” I am a fixer by nature. Parents, teachers, nurses, doctors, bosses, etc. can all relate to this as well. We just want to fix things for those we care about. Or, I will admit it, just because it is easier.

We wish we could fix things for others. But we can’t and today’s message tells us that it is a good thing that we can not. Yikes, that seems harsh. We are reminded that sometimes the best thing we can do is the hardest, we have to let go. We have to let others walk their path, learn their lessons. We can not know what their life purpose is or how they are supposed to achieve it. Our job is not to know but to lend a supporting role. Our role is to offer support and love…not always easy.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Support one another.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good day to stay at home.

-Mac got her xmas list done my shopping for her is done.

-Cute pictures of Conner.

-Cleaned out a drawer I haven’t been in for ages. Yikes.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
