For your consideration…

Remember this Carole King song, “You’ve Got a Friend?” It is the song that brought in today’s message, tongue in cheek I hear, “If only…”

When you’re down in troubles
And you need some love and care
And nothing, nothing is going right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night

You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I’ll come running to see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you got to do is call
And I’ll be there
Yes I will
You’ve got a friend

If the sky above you
Grows dark and full of clouds
And that old north wind begins to blow
Keep your head together
And call my name out loud
Soon you’ll hear me knocking at your door

When people can be so cold
They’ll hurt you and desert you
And take your soul if you let them
Oh, but don’t you let them

Once again, just like a couple of days ago, like many times before, we are reminded that our Guidance is ready and waiting to help us 24/7. All we have to do is call…ask. It is just that easy. If only we would open up the conversation.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Call out…you’ve go a friend.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful fall day.

-A good book.

-Catching up with friends.

-Some pantry and freezer revamping. I still have a long way to go and I need to think about some more reorganization in the garage.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
