For your consideration…

Don’t you love these two? It so goes with the feel of today’s message.

As cute as these two are, the song that brought in today’s message is annoying. This is an Irving Berlin song from Annie Get Your Gun. It is one of those tunes it is hard to get out of your head once you hear it.

But it is a catchy fun tune and that is the spirit of today’s message. We are asked to be fully present and do the best we can in everything we do. And that is enough. Certainly, it is enough to keep us busy. We don’t have to worry about anyone else or how we stack up against them. We have our hands full with trying our very best in the moment we are in.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. I know it is cold out for some of us but we can do it from the porch, getting the mail, going to and from our cars, etc.

-Do our best.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Cathy bright and early.

-Catching up with Alex and Mary.

-Alex got me her Christmas list. I have now gotten her and Conner done.

-A fun dinner with Jul.

-I was able to get the xmas almost done for the dogs.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
