Change Your Point of View

For your consideration…

…change the view.

Life can be challenging, exciting, scary, etc. The bottom line is we don’t always know what to do. When that happens, it is easy to just freeze in place, and not do anything.

Our message today tells us that is exactly the wrong thing to do. Freezing in place does not allow us a new view or perspective. We don’t have to see or know the entire solution…or what we are supposed to do next. But we do need to move forward. We do need to take a step…whatever one is put right in front of us. That little step is enough to change our view. We can take another look from there. And if it still isn’t obvious, we can take the next step that is put in front of us, and the next, and the next, until we do know what we are supposed to do. At each step, we need to go look and listen in the physical moment and the spiritual one within.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Just like what our message is saying.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day.

-Sitting out in the sun and reading a good book.

-I finally have an appointment to get the refrigerator fixed. Fingers crossed.

-Catching us with Jody and Mary.

-I am so thankful that I have a washer and dryer. We forget that some people don’t. Bruce’s caregiver does not. I recently found out how expensive a laundromat is. I have offered to let her do her laundry here while she is patient sitting.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
