“Love Came Down at Christmas” by Diane Wendorf

For your consideration…

Our message was exactly this, “We are all born with gifts from God meant to be shared.”

Pretty clear and I am not sure if I am meant to embellish or not. But I will say a few things. Whether it is our time or talents, our compassion, listening skills…soft and hard skills alike, they are meant to be shared. The more we share them the better we get at them. We hone our skills. Additionally, the more we share the more we are gifted. Our pot becomes bigger and fuller NOT smaller and emptier. I like this quote.

We are all born with wonderful gifts. We use these gifts to express ourselves, to amuse, to strengthen, and to communicate. We begin as children to explore and develop our talents, often unaware that we are unique, that not everyone can do what we’re doing!

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Take care of yourself.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Absorb what Mother Earth is sharing with you.

-Share our gifts.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Jody and Alex.

-A beautiful warm and sunny day.

-I was able to get Bruce out of the house, into the care, to the dentist, and back by myself. Ahhh success. Not easy, not pretty, but successful.

-A trip to Trader Joe’s while Bruce was in the dentist chair. I got to maximize my time.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
