For your consideration…

Our message came in via the song, “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. The song is too long to post so I will just put the link.

Any one of us will read this song today and identify with specific parts of it…or perhaps all. But our message wants to remind us of some specific things. First, we never know how long we have. We don’t know when our last day will be. Should we dwell on that? Certainly not. But we should live our lives to the fullest. We don’t want to have regrets and if we do, we need to right them by learning from them. We want to take personal responsibility and live our best selves in the moment we are in. That is the best way to eliminate regrets.
The second reminder is that only we can live our life. We can not live another’s for them and they can not live ours for us. It may not always feel like it but we were born with a custom life toolbox that has everything we need in it. It was designed specifically for us.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Live, laugh, and love to the fullest. Find the blessing in each moment.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Circumstance made me get laundry done. It feels good going into the weekend with it all caught up.
-Catching up with Mary.
-A good book.
-It is truly fall. I made stuffed cabbage for dinner.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
