For your consideration…

Yes, that is the way the message came in but it is to emphasize that this is not the way to achieve balance.

If you remember this fable, the fox invited the stork for dinner. He served him soup which the stork could not eat with his long bill. The stork did not show rage…this is good…instead he invited the fox to dinner. He served a delicious fish in a long neck jar. Of course, the stork could eat from it but the fox could not. Basically, he got even…this is not a good lesson.

Today’s message is about balance. We are reminded that more or less of the same is not always the way to achieve balance. Less or more laying around does not make us stronger. No, the counterbalance is exercise. A good example is in recipes. We use acid and sweet to balance each other out while elevating flavor.

One good deed deserves another. While it can balance out a bad deed, we also can not have too many good deeds. They never create an imbalance.

The point of today’s message is that seeking balance takes thought. It is not always automatic.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Seek balance in all aspects of our lives.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-Getting out of the house.

-New tires put on.

-Lunch with Vicki and Jul.

-Catching up with Alex and new pics of Conner.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
