For your consideration…

Our message is simply this…

“If you have love, laughter, family, family, and friends, you are blessed.”

…and I would add…life is good.

If we are blessed with these things, we need to be grateful. If we are not, we should seek them out and do what it takes to get them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be grateful for our blessings.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day with sunshine and rain during the night.

-I  had the sprinklers turned off yesterday so am grateful for Mother Nature taking care of the lawn.

-A good book.

-We are going to a wedding in October where salmon…which is deadly to me…is being served. Alex was not crazy about me going without an EpiPen. After Obama Care, EpiPens costs went through the roof. While I am supposed to carry one, I was not willing to pay over $200 to do it. Yesterday I checked and….wahoo…I only had to pay $5. Sooo excited.

-Last night I had 2 hours by myself with a caregiver here for Bruce. He is falling a lot again so life can be stressful here. I ran errands and went to dinner, had a long island ice tea, and read my kindle. Ahhh. Refreshed and renewed.

-Arrangements made. I am so grateful for Shannon, Bruce’s caregiver, and the Elizabeth Dole foundation. The 3 of them have made it possible for me to go meet my new grandson.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
