For your consideration…

“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” We have all used this phrase figuratively and literally.

Today’s message is very specific. It used the phrase figuratively for the opportunities that are put in front of us. Literally, dozens of them are put in front of us daily. We either don’t recognize them as such or we judge them and turn our noses up at them.

But absolutely everything is put in front of us for a reason. We can choose to see them as opportunities and jump at the chance to discover the why. Or we can choose to ignore them thinking something better will come along. It will come along alright, but there is no guarantee that we will like it any better or even less.

How we interpret the opportunities that are presented to us has more to do with our attitude and intention than it does with “cover” on it.

We are asked today to not judge the opportunities presented to us by how we think they look but by the joy of discovery within them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Explore the opportunities presented to us without prejudging them.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

Catching up with Alex and Dianne.

-Vicki, Danny, Jody, Don, and Mary came for dinner.

-A good book.

-Between Mary, Jody, and I, we were able to figure out how to get the Pack and Play out of the case and set up.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
