For your consideration…

How appropriate for Labor Day Weekend to have “labor/work” as a message.

Yesterday’s message was about migration, starting a new journey, new work, etc. Today’s message is more narrow. We are asked to pause and give thought to what is next. What is next for our spirit’s journey? What do we want to work on? What do we need to work on? Do we remember or know what our life purpose is?

Note that we are only asked about moving forward. We are not being asked to judge what we have or have not accomplished. We are not asked to reflect on the past. We are being asked to focus on where we want our spirit to go from here. What can we do to grow our spirit and accomplish our life purpose? No judgment on how big or small. If we think something is too big or hard, tackle a piece of it.

Right off the bat, what are your first thoughts of the task we are being asked to do? Are we worried? Or are we excited? Our messages are sent with only love. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. We have help from our Guidance 24/7. All we have to do is ask.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Note what you are being called to do.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great Michigan game with a stadium full of happy people.

-Catching up with Alex, James, and Mary.

-A walk with Louie. We had to stop our walks because it had been so hot. I have been meaning to start again and yesterday was the day. It is so fun for him to come across other dogs and me to catch up with neighbors.

-Having Jody here. Vicki came by and we just enjoyed each others company for the evening.

-A good book.

-Yesterday Jody and I looked up our birth numbers in The Life You Were Born to Live. I was happy to see that some of the fall classes I have signed up for are the type of exercise I should be doing.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
