For your consideration…

I couldn’t resist using this quote. I love it because it reminds us we have the power and control to invest in ourselves and gives concrete ways to do it.

While today’s message is about advice, its focus is on giving it. We can’t help it. We want to help. We want to share. Sometimes people want our advice. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they appreciate it. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they are grateful. Sometimes they are resentful.

Our message today wants us to notice when we feel the urge to give advice. Notice where the urge is coming from; our heart or our ego. If we feel love and no judgment, then it is coming from our hearts. Still, that does not guarantee how it will be received. But that is not important. We should not be attached to the outcome. Like any gift, it is all about the intention. We can not control how it is received and we should not let a lack of appreciation, rejection, anger, or ignoring affect an honest attempt to help.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be joyous. Expect a great weekend.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Dianne, Shannon, and Alex. Shannon got her power back earlier than expected.

-A visit from the nurse’s aid. This is purely selfish of me but I love this help.

-A good book.

-We decided to go with solar. I am glad the decision is off of my plate.
