For your consideration…

I love the above examples of Karma so I used it. Indeed, today’s message is about Karma but it has a more specific focus.

The focus of our message is on us. Karma is all about us. We may look at someone…we have all done it…and say, “Ah hah, Karma came back to bite them.” But indeed, any Karma we notice is about us.

We can’t always see how this is possible. We might wonder what we have to do with the situation. The thing is that our soul has a memory of all the good and not-so-good things we have done throughout our lives and have been done to us. John Van Auken writes this in his book Reincarnation Born Again & Again;

Conversely, those aspects which we did not have a proper focus will give us opportunities for pain and growth in present relationships. Avoiding these influences is simply not possible. Whether we like it or not, the Universal Law of Karma constantly brings before each of us the meeting of our past use of free will and consciousness. Thus, what we have done to other souls and they have done to us is reflected in the circumstances surrounding our present relationships and the basic, innate urges, attitudes and emotions we feel toward each other.”

We often hear hindsight is 20/20 when we wish situations had gone differently. Karma allows for that. It is the balancer. It is our opportunity to do better, right a wrong, be vindicated, grow, etc.

Every situation in every moment we are in is about us. If we are experiencing Karma, we should pause and pay attention to why. What is my opportunity?

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Think about Karma.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Bruce’s PT is going well.

-A beautiful day.

-A Zoom call with friends, Vicki, Jody, and Julie.

-Catching up with Alex. We are just getting more and more excited as  her big day approaches and we finally get our grandson.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
